Triton bounces back versus OD

BOURBON — What a difference a day can make.
Twenty-four hours after suffering a 13-0 loss to South Bend Riley in its opener on Wednesday, Triton’s baseball team bounced back with an 11-0, five-inning victory over visiting Oregon-Davis at home in Bourbon Thursday night.

Fog forces two-hour delay for schools

BOURBON — Aline A. Poole passed away Saturday at home in Bourbon.
She was born Aline A. Daigneau to Felix and Eleanor Daigneau in Salem, Mass. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Emerson Daigneau and one sister Dorothy Morton. She was a resident of Massachusetts for most of her life, an accomplished artist and the mother of two sons, David Poole of Bourbon and Warren Poole of Enfield, Conn. She has 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

CULVER — Alice M. Osborn, 93, of Culver, passed away at 8 p.m. April 4, 2014 in Culver.
She was born Sept. 22, 1920 in Lakeville to Claude Good and Leona Shafer. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by sons, Thomas D Osborn of Culver and Bruce F. (Priscilla) Osborn of Wisconsin; daughters, Gloria G. (Glenn) Binion of Argos and Linda L. Fletcher of Milford; sister, Marilyn Sheely of Lakeville; three grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
