ARGOS â€” Stella Vires, 73, of Argos died Aug. 24, 2014 at 3:22 p.m. at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, surrounded by her family following a sudden illness.
She was born Dec. 30, 1940 in Corona, Calif. to Nicholas P. Murphy and Elizabeth (Licon) Murphy. She has lived in the Argos community since 1964, coming from California.
On Oct. 13, 1979 in Argos, she married Charles E. Vires.
She was a housewife-homemaker.

BOURBON â€” Larry Klingerman, 75, Bourbon, passed away on Monday, Aug. 25, 2014 at 5 a.m. in his home with his family at his side.
Larry was born April 14, 1939 to Floyd C. and Mabel (Flory) Klingerman at Etna Green. He has been a lifelong resident of Bourbon.

ARGOS â€” Marie Anne Bachtel, 87, formerly of LaPaz, lived for the past 9 1/2 years, with her daughter, Rebecca Joyce who preceded her in death in June 2013, and son-in-law, Paul J. Phillips, and passed to her reward at 7:20 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at her sonâ€™s home. She was cared for in her last illness by her daughter, Mary Bachtel, along with Paul Phillips.

SOUTH BEND â€” Ann Marie Borrelli, 41, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

PLYMOUTH â€” Sophomore students from Weidner School of Inquiry teamed up with the Marshall County Historical Society to work on a project documenting the stories of the WWII Veterans and the women that were left behind.

MARSHALL COUNTY â€” A severe storm warning has been issued for Marshall County.
A storm with winds of 60 miles per hour is likely, with damage to roofs and trees possible.
The warning is in effect until 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

PLYMOUTH â€” AK Industries, Inc. and Composite Technology Assemblies, LLC were approved for tax abatement by the Plymouth council Monday.
Jerry Chavez, the executive director for the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation, said: â€śOn behalf of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation board of directors who ask your support for this resolution before you which is valuable that we recognize businesses in the area continually that make capital investments, create jobs, and itâ€™s a tool that you will consider, tax abatement, that allows them to move forward,â€ť said Chavez.
CROMWELL â€” Kosciusko County Sheriffâ€™s Department Deputies and the Kosciusko County Coronerâ€™s Officer investigated a shooting late Monday evening which has left one man dead.
According to the press release issued at 10:30 p.m. yesterday, officers responded to a 6:50 p.m. 9-1-1 call of a shooting incident that had occurred in the 9000 block of E. Doswell Drive, Cromwell, in Kosciusko County.
Deputies from the Kosciusko County Sheriffâ€™s Department arrived and secured the scene, locating two male individuals outside the residence with gunshot wounds.

OTTUMWA, Iowa â€” Emma Jane Davis, 81, died at 7:35 a.m. Aug. 22, 2014 at Timber Ridge Good Samaritan Assisted Living.
She was born Feb. 11, 1933 in South Bend to Ernest B. and Iva Dodge Hawk. She married Donald Gene Davis on March 24, 1956. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2001.
She graduated from American Banking Institute. She worked at Culver Bank in Culver for 24 years, retiring in 1993.
She was a member of North Court Baptist Church in Ottumwa, Iowa and was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
