Miami QB Ryan Tannehill threw 2 second half touchdowns to rally a comeback victory over Buffalo. Buffalo was moving the ball up and down the field early, but could not seem to find the end zone to cap drivers. They clung to a 9-3 lead as they kept Miami in check. Tannehill was able to rally his team’s offense to score 19 unanswered points to seal the game and second place in the AFC East.

Automated calls on the rise

"The use of robocalls to solicit Hoosiers over the phone continues to rise", said Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller. About 60 percent of the 10,000 Do Not Call complaints filed with the Attorney General’s Telephone Privacy Division in 2014 site robocalls.
Robocalling, which refers to the use of technology that automatically dials residential phone numbers and plays prerecorded messages, is illegal in Indiana under its Auto Dialer Law.

Jefferson Elementary principal and teacher on leave

The official statement from Plymouth Community School Corporation:

“Mrs. Angie Mills, the Principal at Jefferson Elementary School, along with a Jefferson teacher were both placed on paid leave today. At this time Plymouth Community School Corporation does not know the length of their leave. We are not at liberty to discuss the reason these two employees have been placed on paid leave, due to the nature of this situation being a personnel issue. All of our Jefferson Elementary School parents have been notified of the situation Friday evening."

Marshall County – At 1:45 p.m. today troopers from the Bremen State Police Post responded to reports of a crash involving a horse drawn buggy and a pickup truck. The crash happened on US 6 near Dogwood Rd. in Bremen.

Scam alert

"It was brought to our attention that someone identifying themselves as a chamber representative is calling asking for updated information from businesses. This is a scam, the callers telephone number is 402-509-5055. Do not give out your information to them."

Two arrested after high speed chase

November 13, 2014

Indiana State Police, the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, and the Plymouth Police Department engaged in a high speed chase and drug confiscation the morning of November 13.

Facing several felony charges are Richard Gee, 29 of Michigan City and Shannon Dixon, 25 of Argos. Both were arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Kosciusko Police catch accused Internet scammer

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — A man sought in connection to an Internet fraud in Syracuse was apprehended in Atlanta, Ga.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department detectives stated that officers from the Atlanta Police Department (Georgia) have taken Kazeem Owonla, 44, Nigeria, into custody at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport at approximately 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. Owonla was a suspect involved in a theft incident originally investigated on June 28 of this year by K.C.S.D. deputies.
