CMA tops St. Joe
Culver Militaryâ€™s lacrosse team earned a 6-4 victory over South Bend St. Joseph at home at the Academies Tuesday evening.
Jamie Collins, Nick Adams, Dominic Puzevic, Don Reed, Zach Main and Nate Clurman scored goals for CMA, and Taylor Rabbitt made 11 saves in goal for CMA, which stayed unbeaten at 4-0 on the season.

Plymouthâ€™s Kaydon Fosler finished first in the high jump and third in the long jump at the CGA Relays Saturday, helping lift the Lady Pilgrims to the team championship.
Tritonâ€™s Jayden Hargrave pitched a one-hit shutout through four innings to give Triton its first win of the season, 11-0 versus Oregon-Davis last week.

BOURBON â€” What a difference a day can make.
Twenty-four hours after suffering a 13-0 loss to South Bend Riley in its opener on Wednesday, Tritonâ€™s baseball team bounced back with an 11-0, five-inning victory over visiting Oregon-Davis at home in Bourbon Thursday night.
PLYMOUTH â€” It was a shaky opener for Plymouth softball Tuesday night.
The Lady Pilgrims struggled inside the circle, in the field and at the plate against a more experienced Mishawaka lineup, ultimately falling 18-0 in five innings at Centennial Park.
PLYMOUTH â€” Plymouth High School cheerleader, Haley Stein, recently signed her letter of intent to join the Ancilla Chargers cheer squad.
As a member of the PHS cheer team, Stein lettered four years and is currently varsity captain. While attending cheer camp, she was voted MVP All-Around Cheerleader for talent, spirit, and personality. Stein has also been an 11-year member of the All-Star cheer squad at Gymnastics BEST Gym, located in Koontz Lake.
The CMA Prep Hockey team will be playing for a national championship after beating the Ohio Blue Jackets, 4-1, in the finals of the Mid-Am District Tournament on March 16. It is the first time Prep has won the district.
The team will travel to Green Bay, Wis., for the national tournament April 2-6. The tournament schedule will be posted after all the teams have qualified.
Two Lady Pilgrim gymnasts competed in the Huntington North Regional Friday night.Â Senior Nicole Davis and junior Cassi Quissell earned their spots in the regional field by qualifying at sectionals last weekend.Â
BOURBON â€”Â In games as close as Culver Communityâ€™s regional showdown with North White, outcomes are decided in inches.
Alex Grahamâ€™s missed corner 3 was tipped once, twice, three times towards the rim in a hopper underneath the Culver basket, but the ball ultimately rattled out in a heartbreaking 70-69 overtime loss for the Cavaliers.
The Vikings eventually lost out in the Triton Regional championship to Marquette Catholic 79-49.
