MONTICELLO ‚ÄĒ Reginald L. ‚ÄúReg‚ÄĚ Shireman, 70, of Monticello, passed away at 1:34 p.m., Friday, Sept. 5, 2014 at Franciscan St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, 2014 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Friends may also call one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with close friend, Jay Janke officiating.
Private burial will follow for the family in Riverview IOOF Cemetery.

Iris was born on Sept. 16, 1928, in Plymouth, to Elmer and Minnie (Bradley) Couts. She married Eugene E. ‚ÄúGene‚ÄĚ Keck on May 21, 1948.

PLYMOUTH ‚ÄĒ Mary Kathryn Brugh, 69, of Charles Street, passed away in her home on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at 5:14 a.m.
Born in Renssalaer on March 6, 1945, Mary was the daughter of Robert J. Hasty and Margaret (Fry) Mahoney.
Before her retirement, Mary worked as a nurse‚Äôs aide at Miller‚Äôs Merry Manor in Plymouth.
She enjoyed going to yard sales and finding new treasures. Mary was a doll collector and loved crafting, especially making cards. She adored time spent with her family and was always the trickster.

PLYMOUTH ‚ÄĒ Sylvia C. Tallarita, 81, died of natural causes at Pilgrim Manor at 10:52 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014.
Sylvia was born in East Chicago on June 17, 1933 to Nicholas and Elizabeth (German) Komanich. She graduated from West High School in Plymouth, where she also played on the women‚Äôs basketball team all through high school.
On April 17, 1955, at the Plymouth Trinity United Methodist Church, Sylvia and William Tallarita were married.

Born Nov. 6, 1956, Jody is the son of Joseph James and Gloria Verteramo Sr. He was a 1975 graduate of Peru High School and earned an associate degree from the University of Texas.
Jody served his country in the United States Air Force.
Living most of his life in Texas, Jody loved teaching school and reading. He was an avid writer. He really enjoyed helping people and loved his family.

David was born the son of Paul and Betty (Tunnis) Doll at Logansport on Sept. 6, 1954. He attended Riley High School, South Bend. David has been employed at Zimmer Orthopedic of Warsaw for the past 13 years as a Polisher/Robotic Finisher. He had been a resident of Bourbon the past 20 years.

Arthur was born Dec. 19, 1961 in Plymouth to Russell and Flossie (Coonfare) Heminger. On Dec. 24, 1992 in Starke County he was married to the former Marilyn Schlabach.

PLYMOUTH ‚ÄĒ Robert J. Harness, 73, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 in Miller‚Äôs Merry Manor, Plymouth.
Robert was born Jan. 26, 1941 in Grovertown to Lawrence and Georgie (Hopkins) Harness and lived in the area all of his life.
He is survived by three brothers, Clarence of Argos, Paul (Norma) of Warsaw, and George (Ginny) of Hebron; five nephews; and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents.
