CULVER — Wesley W Schilling, 89, passed away on June 11, 2014 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Culver.
Wesley was born to the late Walter and Florence Schilling in Lowell on May 18, 1925. Upon turning 18 years of age, Wesley enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving his country during World War II. On Oct. 25, 1947 he married Velma Matthews of Knox.

CULVER — Paul Reuben Crum, age 85, of Culver, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 after a short illness. Paul was born on Jan. 6, 1929 in the home of an aunt and uncle in East Chicago, to Annis V. Crum and Ida Grace (McKessen) Crum of Burr Oak. Paul joined the U.S. Air Force and served his country from 1950 – 1954. On Sept. 4, 1982 he married the love of his life, Loraine M. Finkbiner. He worked in the plumbing and heating trade. He also loved playing the tenor saxophone and working on chain saws as a hobby.

SOUTH BEND — Carole A. Ross, 72, of South Bend passed away at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 24 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.
She was born on March 14, 1942 in Chicago, Ill. to the late Paul Richard Ross and Margaret Lucille (Barden) Ross. She has resided in the South Bend area since 2010 coming from Plymouth.
She graduated from Walkerton High School class of 1960, Ancilla College in 1985 and also was a graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.
Carole was formerly a Police Officer for many years in Bourbon.

PLYMOUTH — Gisele Jeanne-Louise Morris, age 87, of Plymouth, passed away at 12:24 p.m., on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, in Mishawaka.
Gisele was born on Sept. 5, 1926, in Lyon, France, to Pierre Francois Marius and Marie-Antoinette Josephine Chamoret Lagneau. Gisele married Edward Lloyd Paxton after World War II. She later married Leroy Morris and they lived in Plymouth since the mid-1960s. She had been an active member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #1355, for decades.

PLYMOUTH — Ralph Conroy Lamborn, 89, of 6A Road, passed away in his home following an extended illness on Sunday afternoon, June 8, 2014 at 4:06 p.m. surrounded by family.
Born in Plymouth on the Hugh Quivey farm and grew up where the current Burger King stands. Ralph was born Nov. 21, 1924 to Robert Clifford and Gertrude A. (Wisely) Lamborn. As a child he attended Brightside School and then graduated from Plymouth Lincoln High School with the class of 1942.

PLYMOUTH — Patricia Elaine (Meehan) Schmidt, 71, of Plymouth, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend after a courageous battle with cancer. “Pat” Schmidt was born March 23, 1943 in New Rochelle, N.Y., and was the daughter of Harry L. and Elaine L. (Hibler) Meehan. She graduated from Noblesville High School in 1961 and attended Purdue University where she met her future husband. She was married to Harold J. Schmidt on Jan. 30, 1965 in Carmel.

PLYMOUTH — Jack Monteleone, 76, formerly of Beachwood Drive in Plymouth, passed away at 11:40 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014 in the Catherine Kasper Life Center, Donaldson.
Born in Brooksville, N.Y. on Jan. 21, 1938, Jack was the son of Joseph and Ann (Bryzowski) Monteleone. He graduated from Pleasantville High School in New York with the class of 1956. Right after college, he enlisted in to the U.S. Air Force in June as an airplane mechanic. Jack was honorably discharged from the Air Force on June 26, 1960.
