SOUTH BEND â€” Precious baby girl, Brooklyn K. Banicki, was born into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, at 5:15 a.m., at Memorial Hospital, in South Bend.
Brooklyn is survived by her Daddy and Mommy, Brandon D. and Melissa L. (Smith) Banicki of South Bend; her siblings, Olivia H. Banicki of South Bend, Gavin M. Banicki of Mishawaka, Raegan T. Banicki of Mishawaka, and Aiden T. Banicki of Walkerton.

PLYMOUTH â€” Carol Ann Haddix, 57, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014 at the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
She was born Feb. 6, 1957 in Knox to Silas Dewey Haddix and Media (Stacy) Klingerman.
Carol is survived by two children and three siblings.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 29, 2014 in the Bible Baptist Church, 601 S. Michigan St., Plymouth. Funeral services will immediately follow in the church at 11 a.m., officiated by Pastor Royce Ford of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, LaPorte.

KOONTZ LAKE â€” Delores â€śDeeâ€ť V. Brovold, 88, passed away quietly in her home on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, with her family by her side.
Delores was born Dec. 26, 1925 in Chicago, Ill. to Roy and Mary Wellander. On July 17, 1948, in Chicago, she married Ernest Brovold, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, Scott Brovold.

A celebration of the life of James Edgar Treber will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 1563 N. S.R. 25, Rochester. Friends may visit with the family from 4:30-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester.

SOUTH BEND â€” Richard Harold Miller, residing in South Bend, passed away peacefully at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014 in his home, two days after his 71st birthday.
He was born Sept. 21, 1943 in Marshall County, a son of Raymond and Erma (Hygema) Miller, and has lived in the Lakeville-South Bend area all of his life.
Mr. Miller retired in 2006 from A.M. General Corp where he was employed for 31 years.

ETNA GREEN â€” Mrs. Glenda Sue Killian, 72, of Etna Green, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014 at 7:15 p.m. in her home in the care of her family and Hospice.
Glenda was born Feb. 19, 1942 at Garrett, Ky. to Elcaney and Mary (Morgan) Patrick.
She had been a resident of Etna Green the past 10 years. Glenda was a homemaker and had worked at R.R. Donnelly and Sons of Warsaw. An important part of her life was her membership at the Etna Green United Methodist Church and her family.

He was born on Aug. 2, 1951 in Mishawaka to the late Kenneth and Norma (Fox) Houston.

HODGKINS, Ill. â€” Marguriete (Margie) Jones, 90, of Hodgkins, Ill. passed away peacefully Sept. 16, 2014, at LaGrange Memorial Hospital in LaGrange, Ill. Margie was born on Jan. 14, 1924 in Redmond, Ore. to Benjamin and Esther (Coburn) Mason. She graduated from Madras High School in Madras, Ore. in 1942. On Jan. 24, 1943 she was married to Lewis Jones at the Portland Army Air Base in Portland, Ore. They were married for 65 years before Lewis passed on Oct. 8, 2008. Margie was a homemaker who loved to sew, quilt and do crafts.

GROVERTOWN â€” Anna Hines, 93, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014 at Catherine Kasper Life Center, Donaldson.
Anna was born Sept. 21, 1920 in Valparaiso to Albert and Mary Meyers.
On Dec. 17, 1937 in Valparaiso, she was married to Ernest Hines. He preceded her in death in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; and two brothers.
Anna was a homemaker and self employed as an upholsterer. Her hobbies included: collecting dolls; sewing; crafts; making stuffed animals; and doing jigsaw puzzles.

PLYMOUTH â€” David R. Snyder, 42, passed away surrounded by his loving family after a 16 month battle with glioblastoma on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014 at 10:35 a.m.
Born in Seaside, Calif. on March 6, 1972 David was the son of Melvin Snyder and Rosemary K. (Seibert) Spalty. David lived in the Monterey, Calif. area since birth before his family moved to Plymouth when he was 16 years old. David graduated from Knox High School with the class of 1991.
