MISHAWAKA â€”Â Faye D. Watson, 105, of West Broadway, Mishawaka, died Tuesday at Millerâ€™s Merry Manor, New Carlisle.
Surviving is her daughter, Linda Watson of Newark, Del.
A memorial service will be held at a later date with burial at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka is assisting the family with the arrangements.

PLYMOUTH â€”Â Earl Gerald Weidner, 82, a lifelong Marshall County resident, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, in Atria Tanglewood Trace Assisted Living, Mishawaka.
Born in Argos, July 27, 1929, Earl was the son of Charles Henry and Clara Hartman Weidner.
He graduated from Argos High School with the class of 1947, and served as a sergeant in the Army in the Korean War.
June 6, 1953, in St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Plymouth, Earl and Lois Jean Umbaugh were married.

BREMEN â€”Â Bethel Myrtle Huber, 89, of Bremen passed away Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 at the Hospice House of South Bend. She was born Aug. 1, 1922 in Bremen to John and Inez (Frenger) Edel. Nov. 8, 1941 she married Kenneth Huber, he preceded her in death Dec. 2, 2010.
Bethel graduated from Bremen High School in 1940 and went on to cook for the Bremen Schools for many years. She attended Bremen First United Church of Christ. She loved her family and enjoyed attending her grandchildrenâ€™s sporting events and school functions.

He is survived by children, Kevin D. (Carolyn) Weidner of Glendale, Ariz., Karen E. Prebys of Greenwood, Kathleen A. (Ken) Thomas of Chesapeake, Va., Karol L. Weidner of Virginia Beach, Va., Karla J. (Fred) Malecki of Granger, Keith A. (Jill) Weidner of South Bend; eight grandchildren; and brother, Charles T. Weidner of Naples, Fla.

ARGOS â€”Â Gene Owen Wakeland, 86, of 20059 Michigan Road, Argos, died Nov. 9, 2011 at 8:15 p.m. at his residence following a sudden illness.
He was born June 16, 1925 in Tippecanoe County to Fred and Lola (Ulrey) Wakeland. He had lived in Argos for 48 years, coming from Fort Wayne.
April 21, 1946 in Fort Wayne, he married Marjorie J. Warner; together they shared 43 years. She preceded him in death Dec. 23, 1989.

Survivors include three sons, Ron Schneider of Nevada, Gary Schneider of Plymouth and Shelby Schneider of Knox; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

MENTONE â€”Â Charles Lee Shoemaker of 7593 West 600 South, Mentone, died at 1:45 a.m. Friday Nov. 11, 2011 at the age of 91. Charles was born July 8, 1920 in Burket to Ted and Ruth (Jones) Shoemaker. He married Pauline May Middaugh of Argos, Feb. 14, 1942 she survives.

WARSAW â€”Â Paul Hartle of 943 S. 400 W., Warsaw passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 at 9 a.m. at his residence in Warsaw at the age of 67.
He was born Jan. 4, 1944 in Rochester to Charles Hartle and Clara (Kepfer) Hartle. He was married in Culver, Feb. 25, 1963 to Anna Lee Lutz, who passed away Aug. 23, 2000.
He was a resident of Kosciusko County since 1974. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy, worked as an electrician for the city of Warsaw, and after retirement he was self employed.
