WARSAW â€” A worker at a processing plant in Warsaw was injured in an accident this morning on the plant's loading docks.
According to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriffâ€™s Department, deputies and emergency personnel responded today at approximately 11:02 a.m. to the location of the Creighton Brothers Processing Plant, 6500 West Crystal Lake Road, Warsaw, in regards to a forklift accident. Officers were initially advised that an employee was pinned underneath a forklift near the loading-dock portion of the business.

PORT HURON, Mich. â€” Dorothy A. (Mr. Glen) Johnson, 86, now residing in Michigan, passed away Saturday morning, Oct. 4 near Port Huron.
She is survived by their son, Johnnie R. (Mary Ann) Johnson and their children: Alicia Easton of Raleigh, N.C., Angie (William) Faber of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Chad (Kelly) Johnson. Great-grandchildren are: Ashley, Gabe, Andrew and Andreâ€™ Easton, Faith and Anna Faber, and Courtney, Jeremy and Wesley Johnson. Dorothy is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

KNOX/GARY â€” Police say an Indiana man has now definitively confessed to killing seven women whose bodies were found over the weekend in northwestern Indiana. One of those women previously lived in Knox.
Christine Williams is one of the seven victims identified by Gary police and tied to Darren Vann, 43.
SOUTH BEND â€” Kosciusko County Deputies arrested a South Bend man involved with Mondayâ€™s early morning burglary of the Tippecanoe Valley Middle School.
Kosciusko County Sheriffâ€™s Deputies, along with the assistance of the Kosciusko County D.T.F. and South Bend Metro Special Operations Section, arrested Joseph Luis Stoll II, 30, South Bend, shortly before noon Tuesday. Stoll has preliminarily been charged with felony theft, along with felony burglary with intent, after allegedly breaking and entering into the Tippecanoe Valley Middle School yesterday.
