WARSAW â Chad A. Gottschalk of Warsaw passed away at 5:17 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2014 at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne at the age of 46.
He was a 1986 graduate of Bloomington High School South, and attended Warsaw Community Church. Chad was the owner of Warsaw Sport & Import Car Dealership in Warsaw for many years, and because of health issues had to give it up.Â He enjoyed fishing, animals, skiing, his dog and most of all he loved his family.

PLYMOUTH â Jack L. Johnson, 67, Plymouth, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014, atÂ 12:15 p.m. at his home.
JackÂ was born on Oct. 8, 1946, in Plymouth, to Walter and Cecile (Long) Johnson. He graduated from Plymouth High School in the âClass of 1964â. Jack proudly served in the United States Navy, as a Hospital Corpsman with the Marines, in Vietnam. He was awarded the Purple Heart and various other medals while he was there. Jack married the former, Helen Dickson, on Aug. 17, 1969, in Plymouth. They were the proud parents of two daughters.

âYouâll shake this off. Get back out there soon and do your thing!â wrote one well-wisher.
The inexplicable had happened again, and fans of the Plymouth native wanted her to know they are still with her.
Sunday afternoon, with a lap-and-a-half remaining in the womenâs 1,500-meter run at the U.S. Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Uceny was in contention for a national title.
And then she tripped and fell to the track at Sacramento State University.

LAKEVILLE â Mark Kenneth Keen, 54, of Lakeville died Thursday, June 26, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Keen of Lakeville; son, Jesse (Jessica George) Keen of Plymouth; daughter, Amy (David) Owens of Laurel; brother, Scott (Melody) Keen of Columbus; sisters, Elizabeth Sallee of Knox, Jeanne Keen of Knox; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Isabella Keen and brother, Jim Keen.

INDIANAPOLIS â As the Stateâs appeal of a federal judgeâs ruling against Indianaâs marriage law continues, the Indiana Attorney Generalâs Office has asked a federal appeals court to weigh in and decide whether the lower courtâs order will be stayed or not during the appeal.

MARSHALL COUNTY â The Marshall County Plan Commission voted on a plan to add an amendment to the Sign Standards portion of the zoning ordinance, Article 6, Section 200, Sign Standards, 2. IX.
The section would detail the types of signs and their regulations within zoning districts C-1, C-2, I-1, I-2 and PUD. Those districts are zoned mostly commercial and industrial.
The focus was on three types of Electronic Message Signs (EMS) which include static, motion and video message signs.
