PLYMOUTH â The Auxiliary of
Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center -
Plymouth held a Tree Lighting Ceremony
in honor of loved ones.
Community members were invited to
donate $2 for an angel ornament representing
a loved one to be displayed
on the Tree of Life in the main lobby of
Saint Joseph Regional Medical Centerâs
Proceeds from The Tree of Life will be
distributed by SJRMCâs Auxiliary toward
the work and service provided by the
President of SJRMC - Plymouth Campus
Loretta Schmidt shared a few words recognizing
the less fortunate, those overseas
MARSHALL COUNTY â Marshall County Commissioners approved an application of a property owner in the Lake of the Woods to raise goats on his property as a 4-H project for his children. The property had previously been zoned for agricultural use.

WALKERTON â The John Glenn School board will meet this evening at North Liberty Elementary School. One of the items on the agenda is Superintendent Richard Reese's contract, which includes a $10,000 raise. Public comments on the contract renewal are provided by state statute.

BREMEN â Bremen senior Sara Slabaugh has signed a letter of intent to attend Bethel College, where she will run track and cross country for the Pilots.
NAPPANEE âÂ NorthWood's Morgan Olson was named an IBCA/ Subway Player of the Week for her performances in wins over Elkhart Central and Elkhart Memorial last week.Â Â
Olson averaged 25.5 points and eight rebounds for NorthWood (5-3) to capture honors in girlsâ District 1. The 5-11 senior scored 18 points with three rebounds, two assists and two steals as the Panthers walloped Elkhart Central 60-18. The Youngstown State signee followed with 33 points and 18 rebounds in a 64-50 win over Elkhart Memorial. Over both games, Olson converted 18-of-31 shots from the floor and 15-of-20 free throws.

Plymouthâs Mack Mercer made a bid at a triple-double with 15 points, 13 rebounds and six blocked shots as the Pilgrims rebounded with a win over Peru Friday night.
