SEYMOUR — The LaVille high school football game at Trinity Lutheran has been moved forward from 7 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The Lancers are looking for their second win of the series after a 56-14 win at home last year, as well as their second win of the season following last week's 31-0 rout of South Central.
PLYMOUTH — It was rain shortened, but it will count as a win. The IHSAA will decide the score.
With constant lightening in the area Plymouth and Rochester were unable to continue their Friday night game at Plymouth. After a Plymouth 29-yard touchdown run by Michael Hartman with 9:24 to play in the third quarter, officials delayed the game for lightening the first time with the Rockies in front 35-0.
With the decision not to resume the game it will be up to the IHSAA to decide if that will remain the final or whether it will be a 2-0 forfeit decision.

WALKERTON — The much-anticipated Northern State Conference-opener between first-year head coach Dave Sharpe and his John Glenn Falcons against Sharpe’s alma mater Jimtown started not with a bang but with a whimper Friday night.

Ryan Zellmer put Bremen on the board at the 7:57 mark of the second quarter on a one-yard touchdown run, Kai Slough punched in another score from a yard out with just 37 seconds remaining in the first half, and Bremen took a 12-0 lead into halftime.
