HORN LAKE, Miss. ‚ÄĒ¬†Barry K Reichert, 59, born March 29, 1954, son of deceased parents Stanley K Reichert and Betty Armstrong Reichert, has died in Horn Lake, Miss., Oct. 19, 2013 of cancer.
He was a graduate of Triton H.S. 1972 in Bourbon, where he began his career at the OEC orthopedic company and continuing his skill his whole life from Bourbon, to Austin, Texas, to Toledo, Ohio then working in Memphis, Tenn.
PLYMOUTH ‚ÄĒ The annual tree lighting ceremony and parade was well attended tonight, with several dancers, lighted floats and carolers making their way through the downtown.

Sponsored by American Legion Post 27 for area baseball and softball players the Slugger‚Äôs Bullpen offers indoor facilities for area players to continue to work on their game even with the northern Indiana winter in full swing.
The facility offers two full size batting tunnels, automated pitching machines, natural pitching mounds and turf surfaces. Their is a full lineup of group and individual instruction with special clinics to help players sharpen their game.
Trojans start fast vs OD
Triton players recorded 20 steals for 42 points off turnovers in a 74-30 rout of visiting Oregon-Davis on opening night at the Trojan Trench Wednesday.
The Trojans knocked down 12 of 21 3-pointers and had seven different players hit shots from beyond the arc in the win.
PLYMOUTH ‚ÄĒ The Christmas season officially arrives tonight when the flip is switched on the Plymouth Christmas Tree.
The annual ceremony will take place at the recently completed River Park Square, a flood-prone part of the city that has been turned into a community park. The Christmas Tree is one of the focal points.
There will be lots to do for families this evening to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
The Marshall County museum will be open at 5 p.m. with the trains runnng until 6:30 p.m., when the parade starts.

WALKERTON ‚ÄĒ Vurtis Owen ‚ÄúV.O.‚ÄĚ Swank, 74, of Walkerton passed away at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 in his home. He was born Jan. 16, 1939 in Union Township, St. Joseph County to the late Wilber and Eleanor (Howey) Swank. He was united in marriage in Osceola on Oct. 2, 1965 to the former Karen Sue Wood.
Raymond W. ‚ÄėOkie‚Äô Kruzick

CAPE CORAL, Fla. ‚ÄĒ¬†Raymond W. ‚ÄúOkie‚ÄĚ Kruzick, 66 years of age, of Cape Coral, Fla. passed away Nov. 24, 2013 at Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral, Fla. Ray was born Nov. 27, 1946 in Winamac, a son of Helen Coyne Kruzick and the late James R. Kruzick who passed away on Nov. 28, 1998. Ray graduated from Plymouth High School in 1965.
Community members around the county have begun collecting items for the Milton family who lost their home in a fire early Wednesday morning. Everything in the home was a total loss.
Personal hygiene products are welcome as well as any clothing items, shoes, coats, hats, etc. in sizes 5 to 7 for a woman, and 32 to 34 and 28 to 30 for three men.
Donations are being collected at the Argos Legion Hall and the home of Tracy Stockman 106 West South St. in Argos and in Plymouth at WTCA and Pilgrim Manor.
